Just over 500 miles on my viper and my steering is very sloppy. Took rubber boots loose but have no idea where to start....everything looks very difficult to get to. Any ideas where to start to tighten things up?
Rolled my XTX and it sat on it's left side, almost upside down for over 5 minutes...after I got myself put together and rolled the sled back over on its skis it started right up with no issues. My friend rolled her XF7000 on it's right side at a very slow speed and it was only on its side for...
I have stud boy 6" shaper bars and set my RC2's to 150 PSI/50 PSI...that's it. I rolled it on the lake over NYE weekend (hit some frozen slush and hurt myself worse than the sled I think) but I'll back up north riding on Thursday. I wanna mess with the shock settings some more and see if I can...
I have C&A XTX skis on my XTX and I love it. It corners like its on rails, very little darting, off trail they don't float as well as my sly dogs did on my nytro but still not bad.
I have them mounted on my XTX...you need to move the brake side assembly tight to the handgrip and then move the brake line over as well. On the throttle side you need to cut the mountain bar off with a utility knife right where the handle makes the turn upward.
I ran 150 miles yesterday on some really rough trails...I'm running 150 psi in the EVOL chamber and 50 psi in the main chamber...all other settings are whatever they were set at, at the factory. Rode pretty well but I never adjusted anything to see if it could be improved. That sled is a freakin...
This has happened to my viper many times already...I dont think its the battery. It typicallyhappens after the sled is warm and you shut it off and then try to start it shortly after. I cycle the fuel pump twice and then it pops right off. I think its a mapping issue
Yes...stock riser is 6"...I have it set at 8" in the pic.
Sorry to go off topic but yamadog...I could tell the stock setting is way too stiff for me on the RC2's. I'm 200lbs and I couldn't get them to compress sitting on the shop floor. I went down to 150 psi in the EVOL chamber and 50 psi in...
Multiple aftermarket guys/tuners are saying there's ALOT left on the table in terms of exhaust and intake...it think we're gonna see better gains than we did with the nytro's with the same type of mods!! :jump:
ummmm...yes, more than pissed. I don't understand how you can show the guards with the shocks, order the exact part number and then re-neg on the deal. :o|
