same sled as mine...... anyway glad to hear he is ok that's the most important thing! sleds come and go but are hard to replace!

New Battery installed and starts perfect! Apex battery lasted 8 years, sidewinder barley 3 years.....oh well

Thanks Guys, Update..... Starter rolls over slow with charger on 10 amps. voltage drops below 12 volts under load when starting. I ordered a new battery and will give it ago again upon arrival. Good news is the old apex starts and purrs like a kitten!

Tried to start my sw yesterday. lights and dash come on, fuel pump on, no codes. Charged battery for a while even though it showed fully charged. removed seat all connections good. relay clunks by battery...... no starter spin???? never seen this issue before. sled is in my enclosed trailer. I...

I love that show, He has given me a few tips down the years working on sleds. He is a character! I have TD 2.5 pipe and TD eco tune and saw 122 this year on the dream meter. last year I was around 112 in similar distance and conditions. That tune is perfect for trail riding.

Just my season in review. Short and fast

1450 miles here in Maine, Not the best or the worst just short. Most of the miles were in march and all day trips. Winder with the TD stage 1 tune brought a lot of smiles on my rides! Lakes were awesome toward the end! 4500 miles on my 21 and still rockin!

Try, SMA-8LR96-20-SM Tall smoke windy from Yamaha. Here is a pic on my 2021. much quieter than the original windy. Basically same height with better protection on lower sides. My profile pic shows the stock clear that came on my LTXGT.

I added this bumper for more physical protection and better grab than the stock bumper. not sure if it will help with snow and ice build up? my winder runs hot anyway and had to add scratchers! I am monitoring to see how the tcat grill works....
