2 trips killed so far with this viper.. 4 weeks down because of this viper,
every brand breaks..
it sucks
i'm going back to 2 strokes, back to polaris.
thought yamaha had it together ..
maybe next time
@ 3800 miles i had complete failure of chaincase . wobble bearing and jack shaft bearing went. totally took out the entire chaincase.
oil was changed early in season and chain checked also..
all happened very quickly.
yamaha fixing it all now.
second time the viper let me down while away...
Sorry to say mine broke in under 300 miles.
They replaced the broken part for me. But they didn't seem to want to..
It broke again soon after.
I don't ride with the sway bar hooked up any more. Much better in the rough stuff and offf trail this way.
I would recommend stay away from this product.
the entire system i had on the sled worked real well.
I wanted to try a 4 stroke again. I love them but want something not as heavy. Looks like i will be back on a polaris switchback.. Going to wait to see what happens in march ..
I hate buying 2 stroke oil and worrying about the 2 stroke...
I have the straightline. watch the video they post.. it worked great for me.
I have it for sale in the 7 day classifieds along with alot more stuff..
save some $$
fuse box location sucks..
if there was a little extra wire you could flip it towards the belt so you can at least get to it..
but not enough..
anyone else try anything?
