Thanks for the reply. But sold the viper and baught a mtn cat. So awesome in the trees. I do have some viper turbo bits for sale if any one is looking. Intercooler pcv and auto tune.
Ya I’ve seen the tki brackets. If it makes the oil light problem go away might be worth it. Tried looking it up and didn’t see any one having the problem on sidewinders.
Has any one tried this? I am curious if it would fix oil leaking on roll over, oil light on when climbing issues of the viper. Plus you would get better approach angle and 8 tooth drivers.
Put it back to the gems box and gonna sell the sled. Want a 2 stroke any way. Way better to ride in the trees and roll over. So selling the power commander pti, auto tune and pod-300. Any interest in it pm me.
No power commander has the right tune verified that. Auto tune with pod 300 is what I’m looking at. Thinking there might be an issue with something electrical on the sled screwing with stuff. Not sure what could do it though. Put new plugs in it maybe one had bad ceramic causing it like the old...
Its probably still worth staying 3" pitch gearing and clutching are already right. Unless you still need to finish it? Might need minor clutching change any way.
To use 2.86 track you need matching drivers. This will slow the sled down a bit because they have a smaller pitch circle. I personally like the 3" pitch tracks it wont slow you down either. 2.6 power claw works pretty good.
Been a while since I looked at a a a/fr guage. What numbers do I set the auto tune to? If I remember right 13.0 10% up to 30% then 12 up to 65% and 11.5 for the rest?
No I went to put The koso I had on and can’t find the sensor. Talked to Ulmer gonna add a bit of fuel see what it does and find a pod 300 and auto tune. Or at least get a sensor.
Took the vertical steering out of my 15 viper. So loose. all the bolts top steering tripod and the pyramid too. Went to a standard post cant wait to try it.
First ride on my viper after I put a power commander on. Got commander used with ulmer tune in it. Way snappier than the gems. At 6 psi it sputters after I hold it open for a bit. So I tried 5 psi same thing. topped up oil thinking it was the oil light same thing. Sounds like its hitting rev...
So I installed my power commander today and there is a jumper for the o2 senor on the exhaust. So does that mean I can run av now that I wont mess any sensors? 2015 Yamaha viper mtx mpi turbo.
