Does 22 Viper have the same ECU?

I get this left side running board vibration now and then. I lean towards snow conditions or ice build up as its happened sporadically for all of the 10k miles on my sled. Its usually on the way back into town on a bumpy trail after a long ride when I have time to think about it.

Mine broke in a similar fashion last year. I didn't notice it until I saw grease coming out of the crack during maintenance.

Same with my viper. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not.

I changed mine to the narrow position as I ride rail tracks now and then. I couldn't notice any difference in the handling.

I didn't plan on heading up this weekend due to the rain in the forecast but am sure I can get it looked at for you. I will reach out to Apex1958. He should be there this weekend and would give you the feedback your looking for. We don't call him the Godfather for nothing!

I don't think you can. The key has to be turned on during the flash and ECU reboots after the download is complete.

I have a friend that has a bad ECU they believed burnt up when a battery charger was connected to the sled. Any ideas on were I can point them to find a used one? Was also wondering if the AC and Yamaha ECUs are interchangeable. Thx!

I rode Old Forge the last three days and didn't pick up any rocks in my tuner skis. I like alot of ski pressure so it surprises me that you picked up three of them.

First ride tonight on new flash. Started 1st try at 11 degrees F. Very snappy. Rode 57 miles. Rode hard for last 25 miles. Stopped to top off and it started up 1st try hot. Its 5 degrees now so I will see in the morning how it cold starts. My start issues started at -5. I am very happy and...

Thanks! That makes me feel better. Mine wouldn't start below -10f before this flash. The idle sounds steady now but the rpm gauge still hints a little. It also starts on the first try and was a 2 try before this flash.
