Want to stretch my 2010 121 vector to a 136
Some brand of extension do not extend the hyfax, other do such tracks usa. Pros/cons?
Can the snowflap simply be held up/back with a strap or is a tunnel extension needed, rear heat exchanger, bumper all need to be moved back etc..
Will there be a...
2016 phazer xtx, heated grips are pretty much useless, I've read up on it and understand the ecu is the culprit, poorly designed system. Anyway I was thinking of wiring the stock grips directly to a hi low switch and using a ceramic resistor for the low setting similar to many universal...
Why doesnt yamaha use a clutch similar to their grizzly ultramatic clutch. They are bulletproof and never wear out belts. The primary does not spin at idle, it relies on a centrifugal wet clutch inside the engine. Ive heard of people getting 30000km on original belt, I have 13000 hard km on mine...
Just a FYI, if you get these codes it is likely the coil connectors, can't buy through yamaha but they are common on Ford and Mazda vehicles, I just replaced mine codes are gone, working great now. Should be available at any auto parts store. They are called S819 connectors.
I am getting another code 34 last time the culprit was a bad coil connector. 34 is cylinder #2 which side is it. Last time I had code 33 and 34 so replaced both with old ones from a nytro and it was fine for 1000 km. Ford and some Mazda cars use the same connectors.
Right on, we are big into ATVing as well, made several trips over to Parrsboro NS, and lots to NB as well. Sledfing conditions over here this year are perfect now.
Got it fixed up. Went into diagnostic mode, TPS sensor reading were erratic up to mid throttle, beyond climbed steadily. 426.00 for new sensor and a week away so I took old one off, sprayed rust check into it, worked it a bit with screw driver re-installed, reading were all good. Test drive...

I went into diagnostic mode and while checking throttle position sensor readings on cluster I noticed the readings are pretty erratic going up to mid throttle, above that the reading climb steadily as I continue to slowly squeeze throttle. Is this confirmation the TPS sensor is bad? They are...
I am having sputtering, missing issues with my 2016 phazer at anything less than half throttle (under 8000 rpm) above that it works perfect. I went into diagnostic mode and while check throttle position sensor readings on cluster I noticed the readings are pretty erratic going up to mid...
Yes it will stall the odd time, especially if I let off the throttle while it is sputtering. I checked dielectric greased a lot of connectors including ECU, ground blocks, air box and others. Are the 2 you mentioned accessible under headlight or where would I find them. I also just noticed the...
Problem comes and goes. Starts and idles perfect but sometimes when running slow below 8000 rpm the engine sputters, misses stalls sometimes. Above 8000 it always works perfect. From stand still if you pin it it pulls hard and runs perfect. Sometimes everything is fine. No codes or warnings, new...
Anyone have a source for connectors used on yamaha sleds...specifically the connectors that go onto ignition coils. My 2016 phazer throwing code 33 ends up loose connectors on coils. Dealer soldered in used ones from a nytro but said otherwise only thing avalable is conplete harness for 600.00
Continuity is good, tried wiggling wires etc stayed good...swapped coils and plug to opposite sides, die electric greased ecu and coil connectors, coils and plugs. Everything working great now....im sure it will be back though...
