2 after market stator s 786.00 sled would not run ....put a factory one in and she fired right up ...hard lesson learned here on using Royal Dissrubing after market parts and there stators ..they will not work in your sled ... thank to all that helped me out Cheer s .. and bring on the 2017...

triple checked all my wiring n no spark

spi it says on box and yes it has pick up

pissed battary went last year bought stator from royal dis and new battary ..put new stator in now sled wont fire no spark ...turns over lots of fuel butno spark

I did check all my fuses in the fuse box and the 2 30amp by the pos thermal's all fuses are good ....bought a brand new battery and it only lasted 30 min into a night ride and lost all my power and sled started to quit on the trail ... yes I did check those both were still good ..tested stator...

no I didn't know there was one ....tested my stator and it only .005

cant get the side cover off the motor ???? I have all the bolts out and I feel a spring holding the cover on

just put a stud through front heat exchanger how to fix or should it be replaced ?

eh ! sorry didn t know that i was afending any one, was trying to see if any other 4 stroker was or had this problem with the oil tank cracking ,And in looking into it there has been over 500 sleds with this same problem thank s and cheer s

are you a friggin joke ,,,there was no oil light that did come on and if you look into it,, there was and is a prob with the tank s cracking on these sled s and i am a mechanic lol this was an is a warning to other 4 stroke owner s to look out for this prob .... but hey thanx for your input

talked to yamaha and they told me i'm beat,,, my sled only has 6800 km on it and and it has had a prob with the oil tank cracking ,i bought it with 4200 km on it now i'm left with a hole the size of a fist in the side of the block ,i bought a used oil tank from a dealership and it lasted 200 km...
