all i have to say is this doesnt add up i have raced 5 850s and have never has any problem beating them i had one that was clutched and re geared get me for maybe 100' and after that the race was done.

i know of one that threw a rod totally stock sled Yamaha sent a new motor immediately. That is all i know. They did say that was the only one they have heard of that threw a rod. I will ask for more details and let you know.

my dealer also replaced mine under warranty
