How much difference do you see in Pilot 5.7 vs 5.7R skis using aggressive ST carbides? Love the aggressive ST on my 5.7s but looking for better cornering in loose snow.
Thanks for sharing. Redline G3 setup will be my go to replacement fuel box when my MCX Gen 3 starts acting up. How did you like the Tuner Pro software?
Did you ever end up adding/removing timing on your MCX 270 Nytro. I have a PCV with timing module and would like to add timing in from clutch engagement to pre boost for throttle response. Looking for input on how much timing I can add using MCX supplied head shim. Based on some research I am...
Looks like you are sprung on the lighter side. Right now your combined rate is 109lbs/in and probably need to use 185lbs/in main spring for combined rate of 126lbs/inch if you're a bigger guy.
I think you will find straight stock 43degree helix to work best for you. 47/43 may work fine too just take some weight out of the heel if rpm are too low. 56/46 is alot of helix with these weights.
What did you end up using for relay and wire gauge to the pump? Glad I have come across this post, I was already questioning the stock wiring and it's ability to supply enough to the external pump.
I know this is an old post but and I have never been successful in removing the delay at 5K RPM (Gen 3 MCX Fuel box) when stabbing the throttle. According to my log this occurs exactly when vacuum transitions to building pressure . Have you been able to remedy the issue using Gen 3 controller?
What is the best way to test for leaks? Can I seal off the air intake and pressurize it at that location or should pressurizing the compressor of the turbo be avoided?
