so the threads on my Schrader valve to fill my float shock are corroded and won't let me use the pump anymore I have been looking online for replacements only to find the stupid things priced from 15 to 30 bux each which is a total load since they are about a penny's worth of aluminum anyone...
So we hit the PPSC club house sunday morning and were going to take a rip to bewdley and back but about 3 miles into the ride i noticed the "snap" was gone from my sled 2009 Nytro XTX and the belt would squeal on take off this is after only 3 miles! Pulled the side panel and sure enough the...
I have a MATCO cordless impact (1/2") and a Ingersoll Rand cordless (1/2") the matco is head and shoulders above the IR, but I let the dummies use the IR for everyday things that dont require the grunt the MATCO has. I would recommend the MATCO to anyone
I have never been told anything about any cooling nature of higher octane fuels.
There is less BTU of energy in higher octanes per unit, i.e. LPG .
So for at the pump High Octane fuel contains less heat units per litre that regular, the difference here is small but could be why the idea...
Its not about burning better , its about resisting the urge to spontaneously combust due to the compression ratio etc. High octane fuel can be compressed under hotter and faster conditions and still only fire when the spark plug goes off making for a clean quick burn making lots of power...
I would not worry about high octane in the raptor, not needed even with those mods. The Power commander will compensate and add more fuel (to compensate for the better air flow you now have) This additional fuel will keep the Air Fuel ratio correct for your application assuming the PC is mapped...

I dig up old threads all the time by using the search looking for stuff about odd things like this, obviously read the thread and not the date and provided us with an accurate answer to the question that was not provided before so when the next guy searches for this he will find the correct...

They don't take abuse well, I bent 3 small yammie tuning fork ones. Never really felt anything either until they were bent lol. I don't know how strong the aftermarket ones are. I also have the rear tuning fork wheels as well I have had no issues with them.
Easy way to check is to undo the torsion springs and set her all the way down see if the tunnel protectors hit the track or not.
You will have to lift the skid up with the rear end lifted off the ground to get the skid to collapse all the way, or you need to let your front end all the way...
Check the back of the key for corrosion, also check the starter relay, its near the oil tank, follow the wires from the battery, the positive will go to it then off to the starter from the relay. You can try jumping the relay to see if it will start.
I burn more gas than that to haul the sleds to ride, forget the gas in the sleds or TP or insurance! You gotta pay to play!
I usually get my pass before Dec 1st, but I just donate the 50 bucks to my club so they actually get it!
