There are little plastic "buttons" that go in the moveable sheve next to the letters or numbers. I had a video posted in the FAQ but it was hosted on photobucket and is no longer available. I've been unable to find the video as it was a while ago. I don't have a stock phazer secondary clutch...

You'll have to rotate the moveable sheave to get the ramp on the helix past the plastic buttons (45 degrees if I recall correctly for A 1. Its been a while since I've put together a stock phazer clutch) before pushing the helix all the way down. I suggest using a new snap ring when re-assembling.

I had the same thing happen to my Phazer.

How do the sockets look in the plug? Are they dirty or corroded? You might have been able to get contact with a meter but hopefully it may be as simple as not be getting a good contact to the pump?

Just to confirm, the pump is running on the bench with voltage applied, and you get voltage to the plug. When you plug it in and try it the pump does not run?

When you get the no start event, can you hear the fuel pump running when you turn the key?

I'll have a look for it but I dont think I have it anymore. I would take another video however I no longer have that style of clutch.

I had this happen to me a while back and I found one of the wires at the coil connector damaged at the crimp. It was barely holding on.

How much of a rise over stock is your new setup?

I would start with the simple stuff, new spark plugs assuming you have no fault codes.

Has anyone had to replace one of the crimp pins in the waterproof plugs? I have a wire that broke off one of the pins on my ignition coil plug and I'm looking for a replacement. Thanks

Code 88 is for an open or a short for the reverse/fwd drive position switch. I would start by making sure they are plugged in properly. Have you had the sled taken apart recently?

The ABC and 123 correspond to the positions for the spring in the clutch sheve and the helix. I don't remember if the letters are on the clutch or the helix (I have a different clutch on my phazer now) but if you look at the back side of the helix and in the clutch where the spring goes you'll...

You can probably start off around 45 or 50psi in the front. Rear springs probably on M or S (basically to hold the sled up with the rider on it) and then adjust the shock as needed to absorb bumps. The tighter the strap the heavier the front end will feel, steering will feel heavier as well...

I agree with this.

We still don't have enough ice to pass the groomer over wet areas. I was up north during the 50 cm snowfall. Sudbury, earlton, tamagamy, and north Bay to put on some kms. Trails are yellow here but I don't think they will be all that great. North Bay is worth the trip up there for sure.
