Clamps would clamp the flange over the the flex pipe and the donuts. I had no issues there. They were tighter than using the OEM seals. The fit over the YPipes was interference. I made a jig to position the flanges on the Y pipes. Cut off the flanges then put the y pipes in the freezer...

So after many years with pilot skis I have decided to pull out my old stock skis and go to an aggressive set of snow trackers which I bought from Travis at Barn of Parts. The directions say to reduce your ski pressure by 75% and to bring the strap out to the furthest hole.

Looks like the gusset did its job. It's not broken there but where it ends. Maybe the gusset should go beyond the bracket or if clearance allows one gusset straight across
First time will be a good day or so.
Pull off all panels which some are riveted
Pull off a arms
Unbolt bulkhead halves
Drill out a bazillion rivets
Might as well replace a arm bushing as well.
Look at full micro fiche on Yamaha web site or Partzilla. is marked to the left. Look at the fin rotation and the step out of the disc that slides on the shaft. The fiche should show you the assembly order. Post some pictures if unsure.
