Kimplex only makes them for older models it looks like. Does anyone know the difference between eps and non eps arms? Some aftermarket arms show they work for all years.
Picked up an 11 apex that needs left side control arms. Used ones seem to be kinda hard to find so wondering what years i can use and if vector arms will even work.
Thought about going a wide arm setup but would like to stock with stock if i can.
Make sure to look at your caliper close. Mine has groves that are wore in about 1/16" on the bottom preventing the pad from sliding. Actually started to wear the pads uneven. Hopefully warranty will cover and glad I caught it. They say brakes are important. :dunno:
Inspecting everything before the season, sled has 4600 miles. Bearings all look good but I dont want to have any problems so Im going to change them out. Are people just upgrading the wobble bearing or are they switching to the 16 setup?
I had the same problem. Welded there 1in long bung into the pipe before the turbo like the gen 1s. Havent had a proble since. First sensor lasted 200miles, this one is at 500 so it must have helped.
I might be giving up some bottom end but it just spins the track anyways so I dont think its was enough to hurt me in a race. It did help keep me off the limiter when the snow get soft. Gems settings are:
Mode1- 2.5
mode2- 4.0
mode3- 3.0
mode4- 5.0
mode5- 4.0
I'm still a little rich cruising...
Your setup is qutie a bit different then mine. I hit 109 yesterday on the trail, not a plow road or icey lake. A feshly groomed trail. 2014 ltx se with 180 mpi kit intake out hood
ulmer weights 4-2-4 (need to add antoher washer to mid and maybe the tip with intake out hood)
ulmer red 3-3...
Mine was after the turbo as well. He was saying it sees to much turbulence mounted that close after the turbo and is hard on the sensor, also the short bung puts to much of the sensor in the exhaust stream. Mpi has never heard of a problem with it mounted after so I'm not sure what option is...
I have an mpi 180 kit running the innovate gauge. My problem is after 400 miles my wideband o2 sensor went out and innovate wont cover it, they say its mounted to close to the turbo. I have the 2nd gen style with the 02 sensors in the muffler.
Has anyone had any problems with there wideband...
Doesn't ulmer have an updated intake he makes that keeps it under hood but moves it up front below the radiator? I don't like where its mounted under hood but dont want it sticking threw my hood either. Might be a good mix inbetween?
