I'm glad to see they dumped the rabbit ears on the wind screen.... if only they could swap the skis! I'm glad I saved the Powder Pros skis off of my M800
Ricky at OFT used Curve skis on his old Nytro. I'm pretty sure he ran them on his Viper, maybe he'll chime in.

I was a "Kickstarter" (early supporter) for Syphon Soundwrap. They are suppose to be delivered sometime very soon. They are designed to fit under helmets. I'll try to get a trip report soon.
What track does your other sled have? You should ride a Camo CE on one and a PC on the other to get a direct comparison on like machines.
...and of course you should boost them too!
- Lightweight hood
- Lightweight battery
- PowderPro Skis
- Arctic Cat tunnel bag
- Windshield bag
I'm waiting to see all available hoods before deciding which one. Maybe Mountain Fit, maybe Diamond S.
I had the concept front end on my Nytro. It was a world of difference over stock HOWEVER the Viper is a world of difference over the still front end, pig heavy Nytro. No offense to Nytro drivers, I have three years, lots of money and 2000 miles of a mixed bag of riding a blinged out Nytro but...
Evolution changes the timing and has a stock compression kit to 11 psi. More details will be out soon.
It seems like a lot without a head shim but it is what it is. Boost-it out of Canada does the same thing. They both are successful and sound like great kits. Boost-it is only in CA. Both...
What do you feel?
Debating staying around 8-9 psi on stock compression vs doing an Stage I kit with a headshim? I don't want to lose on the bottom end. Who has experience on both on the Genesis motor?
I realize the other advantages with the Stage I but is it worth $1500 if I'm shooting for...
That was a tough choice for me Stingray. Thinking about the geometry (now more/less the same) and the engine, I went with a boosted Viper. I just couldn't get over how much I like the Yamaha motor. To be honest too, the clutching scared me away a bit on the Cat. I'm hoping the geometry is fixed...

That quote is straight off the Yamaha website. There are however plenty of people in Alaska running...
I had the same question a few years ago.
They are plug and play for four strokes. I would do it again they are super fun and reliable. Turbos are simpler.
I see you are in AK, Drew at Anc Yamaha has been awesome product support/knowledge, etc. He's is on the forum as well.
I have Fox Floats on a Skinz front end and I generally run 50-55 psi and it lays over nice in powder. I don't like much more than that. I have run as low as 40 in less than powder.
A quick search on google shopping puts them each at around $1000.00. Check with your Yammi dealer on the CE, Arctic Cat makes the Powerclaw.
I know up here in Ak one can sometimes find the PC used.
I have the CE 2.5. It hooks up very nice in the snow. It made a huge difference. Like...
