Was still good at 10k miles. Wouldnt change til 20. Was no visible wear on any gears. Use 75-90 gear oil every 500 miles because it only holds 250ml and its cheap to change as pm.
Download the manual online, or ask your dealer to print off a few pages for you. Test voltage to regulator rectifier while running. If there's voltage going in its just a bad regulator.
If you haven't rebuilt your primary in that many miles I would anyway, we replaced one with 17km with a pb80 and it made a huge difference. Also there's 2 bushings and 3 sliders in the secondary that should be replaced,as well as the spring
on the back of the clutch there is 3 8mm bolts. remove them, remove the 3 washers, and reinstall the bolts. this will spread the clutch and loosen the belt. right now the belt it too tight and is rubbing on the clutch shaft at idle. that's what we do whenever a belt squeels. might work for you
grab helix, turn clock wise, and push in with right hand, while pushing down, or lifting up on the belt with left hand. its the easiest machine to change belts on. however there is a tool made, i'll look around and post a link for you if you'd like.
while your in there go ahead and do copper donuts, lather them up in high temp silicone, put a bead of silicone in the clamp, and torque to spec with a new bolt. haven't touched them in 3 years and no leaks. done 4 sleds like this and all been successful. does your dealer stock copper donuts?

the odds of both spindles bending identically like that is in my opinion kind of slim. there could be an arm in the bulkhead that got twisted up or compressed causing the funny toe in. for future towing, hook on both lower a arms nearest the bulk head. strongest point, or else 1 rope around 1...
