I appreciate the information,going to have to try but the rear shock is getting kinda tired so I thought I would replace ,until I got a price from Yamaha, 400.00 dollars so I thought I would see if anybody used a aftermarket shock.

Looking to replace the rear shock on my 05 Rs Venture , but refuse to pay the 400.00 cdn that Yamaha wants. Any suggestions eg.Royal distributing or after market, we seem to be having shorter season and want to see if anyone had some ideas! Thanks

Well cleaned the carbs on my 05 Venture, went for a 140 km ride and one cylinder was loading up, got a reply to check my needle seat on the one cylinder that was loading which was very helpful. So pulled the carbs off again and really checked them over really did'nt see anything but who knows...
