the mtx in the pic has evol's on it, all of the previous pics of the mtx and the brochure said it has float 3's, does anyone know if the mtx will come with evol's?
doesn't the decal on the left side of the mountain sled look like it says turbo? https://www.yamahamotorsports.com/snowmobile/pages/2017-yamaha-snowmobile-handling-comfort
Has anyone had problems with the fuel injected sled that when fuel gets low, and under hard accel, gets a real bad sputter due to fuel slosh away from pickup? I am currently building a surge tank similar to impulse setup but wondered what everyone else has done for this problem
my dad and i both ran it all last year, works great, his is an rx1 stock motor with 14 psi and 60hp shot of nos with meth and 91 octane pump, he gained a substantial amount of power over the same setup on 110 race fuel, mine is an apex with 24psi 9:1 with a 40hp shot on 91octane with meth, love...
too rich try leaning out that rpm range, my 2871 is building 7psi at 5000 on the stutter, you will know when you find the sweet spot it sounds like a jet spooling up!!!
anyone heard of problems with msd fuel pumps? lost fuel pressure last weekend thought i was out of gas added fuel about 1.5 gal fuel still wouldnt start got towed back added another 5 gal and fired right up but now pump sounds like hell(pulsing grinding sound) any recommendations on fuel pumps...
having problems getting my prologger to control boost, have played with the settings and cant seem to make more than 15psi, any ideas? also can someone tell me which ports are the input, output, and vent on the boost controller solenoid?
isn't this on a high boost application? im pretty sure you will want to gear it back up with that much power, 1 had 22/40 last year and had it maxed out all the time, went to 23/38 for this year not quite that long of a track though only 162"
i also used this transition http://himni-racing.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=840 and welded a straight 3" pipe to it, the transition fits perfect in the oval pocket that is machined into the outlet flange, i believe this setup works even better than the divorced wastegate.
