I'm sure.. but I can't justify spending 500 on a muffler. It sure don't cost that to build. The only reason it cost that much is because people want it amd are willing to pay. I'm not.

Ya... so basically you are telling me what I DON'T want to hear. What thinking 1/4" Steel plate for the flange and then plain Old Steel exhaust with a piece of flex, then a shortened glass pack haha.[emoji109] [emoji101] [emoji120]

Looking for some opinions or even facts.. when it comes to to BUILD new muffler for my sidewinder on wondering what to use. Would be nice to go cheap but don't want to have any issues. Or... should I just go top to bottom with stainless?? Will aluminized Steel hold up to the heat?

Yes... I called the dealer I bought mine from today.. VERY reliable source too... they too said should see it at the dealer within a couple weeks.

Ya.. I realize technology allows freer breathing and still keeping it quite but I hear these things are REALLY quiet. Looking at that OE muffler makes me think a simple custom "glasspack" would cut around 10#, sound better, and free up some ponies.

Ya... I been searching here and there just to see if I can find any new info but no luck. Any idea why there are mixed HP numbers out there? They claim 180+.. I've seen a couple pics that showed a sign at the 2017 sneak peeks with 204hp.. ??? Thoughts??
