3 gallons or less in your tank!!

Both my sled and a fiends did this after we upgraded the fuel pumps. They would actually stall too when they got to that point. We both added the return to the fuel sender itself like pefi does, no charge. Found both pumps were bad. Replaced them and both sleds run perfectly now.

    Primary clutch exploded

I was trying to reference that one too. But didn't have proof of it, and I was getting ripped apart for saying it so....

    Primary clutch exploded

Here are some pictures. Most of the time when someone posts an exploded team clutch, the post gets deleted from any fourm it's on, but magically they leave the blown up yamaha clutches online for all to see. There were more pictures of one on fb this morning that kept cracking covers off of it...

    Primary clutch exploded

The teams are blowing apart too. The steel spider expands at a different rate with the heat and cracks the aluminum around it. They are also harder to service, with less service parts available, not as tunable, and consistently slower than the yamaha clutches.

    Brand new srx does 200kph

The weight transfer comment wasn't meant to be like that. I did buy an srx. Can't wait to ride it. Ive never ridden a 137, but saw first hand how the 129's always hooked up better. The comment was aimed at if the new 137 works better than the previous ones.

    Let's talk primary clutch rollers

the team clutches have been exploding too. They pop up on some of the Facebook sw/tcat groups here and there but usually get taken down quickly where the exploded yamaha clutches are allowed to stay posted.

I'm really interested to see how the weight transfer will be.

Add top speed on Sidewinder SRX

I agree. They haven't released much info at all on any of it. Kinda like how there wasn't even a parts fiche or breakdown and almost no accessories available for a few years lol...

Add top speed on Sidewinder SRX

I'd have to look at my 17 again, if I remember correctly my helix was stamped 8kc50

Add top speed on Sidewinder SRX

There is a new helix and secondary spring in it. Looks like a pink apex spring not sure without removing and conparing. Helix now stamped 8kc70. Unsure of angle. I looked at the srx at a sneak peek event this last weekend. Then I ordered it lol...

    Snow hitting my back...

The tri hub causes it. Its a good idea to get rid of it before it destroys the skid anyway

    900 miles per belt

I'm getting there. Now at 700 miles per belt. 3200 miles on sled, that's alot of belts. Waiting on my hurricane tool to come. Have machined the shaft on the secondary already, cut spring pocket deeper. Cat rollers, all different kinds of clutching, and tunes. We'll see what I come up with when...

    Stm secondary

Has anyone tried the Stm secondary on their sidewinder yet? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Thanks!

BROKEN PRIMARY SPRINGS. Keep eye on.

Run the thunder products kit with the glide washers. I have 1200 miles on the thunder products clutching with zero paint off the spring, no rubbing. Not to mention the thunder products setup pulls a hell of a lot harder than the stock weights.

    Belt Grenade

I do have an Evo stage 3 tune, Dalton 35/39, thunder products primary clutching. I played with the secondary until all 3 rollers touched. The only time I blew belts was on a pull on the lake over 100 mph. Finally after a secondary spring, I can make a long pull. For reference I lost my first...

    Belt Grenade

So far I've had good luck with the Hauck red. Works similar to stock but does not coil bind. The wrap is different. 3 and 9 is about 60 deg. Not perfect though. Still have a box of springs I need to test with, and I have no place to do it as its warm and there is no snow here now.

    Belt Grenade

8dn or 8jp doesn't matter when they coil bind this bad. This was as far as mine would shift out with .070 cut out of my spring pocket. I can't believe this made production. Been testing with other secondary springs so far without more blown belts.

    Clutching on the cheap

I was only blowing belts on the lake over 100mph.

    Clutching on the cheap

1nc, I almost guarantee that your secondary spring is coil binding. I had the same issue, even machined my clutch to relieve the coil bind, but that still wasn't enough. I am currently testing other secondary springs. So far the Hauck Red seems to work well. Haven't blown a belt since changing...
