So I got a manual for the MrSled and the wiring diagram is of such poor quality that it is useless. would any one know where I can get a decent copy.

Just use marine grease in the bearing, it's lithium base (wax) which doesn't wash out like oil based grease. I re-grease mine every year and am still running all the same bearings that I put in to replace the wheels with the non-replaceable bearings.
The bearing nut part 19 screws onto collar 18 to align the bearing on the shaft. The shaft comes out from the clutch side and unfortunately you have to disassemble the chain case. I had to set one up once before but do not remember the procedure to set it up. when you screw the two parts...

By looking at the yamaha spring spec's the ypy should give a slightly lower engagement, also will affect shift rpm slighty
Spring pre-load affect engagement speed and total force affects shift rpm.
