I'm studding my 2011 FX Nytro XTX 15 x 144" track with 1.250 lugs.
When going on the Woody's, Studboy etc. websites they recommend 1.750 studs. In the diagrams provided they illustrate the measurement from tip of stud to tip of lug to be approx. 3/8" yet I've noticed it's more like 7/16" - 1/2"...
My local Yamaha dealer, C&E Yamaha here in Foxboro MA. has decided to close their doors. After decades in business the owner decided it's time to retire. With business being slow he decided it's time.
I'm happy for him in that he'll finally get the opportunity to retire and enjoy himself. It...
Our latest trip up in northern Maine. Had a blast, tried to cut a trail to visit a dear friends remote camp, enjoy the vid!

Looking at purchasing a new side by side.
I must say I test drove the new 2014 John Deere Gator RSX850i, it was a monster. This new recreational gator can haul but is also great for the trails with a top speed of 53mph.
I'm also leaning heavily toward the 2013 Yamaha Rhino 700 special...
Action cameras are becoming more and more popular amongst the riding community.
A buddy of mine recently purchased the GoPro Hero3 Black for $399. After returning from our day of riding we'd watch some of the footage on the flat screen. After playing around with different settings and...
Looking for handlebar and rear bumper mounts to connect my HD Sony video camera on my Nytro. What are you using? Looking at doing a small quality riding video. I'll also be using a tripod along the trails and setup riding scenes.
Conditions have been very icy here and therefore it's prompted me to install picks.
What do you recommend?
My XTX is a 144" track with the 6 degree slope. I don't want excessive picks just enough so that I have traction when ice is present.
Any links would be great. Thanks for your help
Just curious if you guys can recall at what RPM you start to move from a stand still point on your XTX? I know it'll probably vary given different conditions.
Reason I aks, over the weekend the trails were fast, meaning it's been wicked cold with freezing rain so trails were hard and I...
Is it just my Yamaha sleds or does the majority of Yamaha owners feel their reverse lever is always acting funny?
Never feels like it wants to engage, kinda have to drive forward like 0.01555" and then it may engage or perhaps you'd have to go another 0.00555" and then it'll engage...
A few months ago I posted what I did with my RS Venture trunk bag HERE.
After a great riding season I'm reporting that design didn't work well for me. Once the bag was loaded it kept sagging & leaning over during turns. As a result I had to tighten the straps which eventually ripped at the...
I am pumped to now be part of the Nytro family. During the season I test rode the RTX & XTX & found I was better suited to the long track. My dealer had a 2011 & 2013 in stock. With little differences between the two year models, the 2011 was priced where I couldn't say no, so it was the clear...
We were out riding when my buddy in front slammed his brakes, spun around & I couldn't turn fast enough & hit the side of his sled. My hood has a pencil mark length & depth scratch. I purchased OEM touch up paint but wanted to ask what you guys would use to fill in the scratch first?
So I'm looking at adding the FX Nytro XTX to my collection. I already have a touring sled & truly love it but looking for a crossover now.
My dealer has a brand new 2011 XTX in stock that is willing to part ways with it at a very enticing price. He also has a 2013.
So this got me thinking...
I'm looking into upgrading my interior lighting situation on my clamshell trailer. Clearly we've all experienced that the factory light up front just doesn't cut it.
I'm looking at installing LED lighting & wanted to see who has made this upgrade & if they can share pics.
