I did, basically had to ultrasonically clean everything and replace all the rubber O rings in it. Got way more time into it than I wanted. Cleaned alot of carbs in my day but this was by far the worst. Didn't look like a bad deal at $900 depending on the actual (evilbook marketplace) condition.

Thanks for clarifying. I was leaning toward putting them back to stock but it's alway nice to have a second opinion from someone with more experience in it. LET IT SNOW !!!

Thanks for the reply RobX-1, I'm assuming by proper turns you mean to set them to 2 turns as the manual states, is that right ?

I purchased a 2004 warrior with 100 miles on it that has been in storage for the last 18 years. Original owner drove it and lost interest and let it sit. Had to completely clean the carbs and when I took the pilot screws out to clean I checked the settings before removal and carb #1 was 3 1/4...

Finally found the problem! The 3 wire plug on the LH pressure sensor had a broke middle wire right at the point where it goes into the plug (hard to see).Unfortunately it is too short to fix. I ended up taking a plug off of a set of viper carbs and wired that in. Fired up and ran like normal...

Thanks for the reply Mooseman. I went to start it up last nite and as soon as I turned the key it flashed code 13. Gonna have to do some looking for a vacuum leak this weekend.

I have already adjusted the throttle free play, that didn't help. How do you adjust the idle and check the throttle position sensor? I will have time to do it tomorrow night.

Okay thanks for the info, but now I need to know where to get a filter wrench to get the yamaha filter off. Any ideas ?

What is the K&N oil filter part number for 2011 phazer rtx or where can I get a filter wrench that fits a yamaha filter and will fit in the small area they give you to get the filter loose?
