    Nytro primary in a sidewinder

There is no radial bracing on the back of the pocket to support the forces that are being generated. Look at the previous Yamaha clutch and you’ll see the support webbing. Tarzan you are correct. We have seen completely stock machines break. Stock weights and tune.

    Nytro primary in a sidewinder

I would like to clear a couple things up here. 1st. HH or Heavy Hitter weights have never had a weight failure. It’s also been proven that the HH weight can’t go past the roller. That is directly from the owner/patent holder. 2nd. We know of over 60 blown sidewinder primary clutches so there is...

Yes it fits. Stock secondary. Offset is the same. Didn’t have to adjust. I’m set at 61mm offset.

    Nytro primary in a sidewinder

I’ve been running a viper primary since last December. It rattles just as bad as sidewinder clutch. Belt life is the same as a sidewinder clutch. But it doesn’t go boom. 1500 miles and no cracks. With our clutch weights I went 5 grams heavier with base weight and setup with same screws as...

Shagman and NOS-PRO are now the new owners of Thunder Products

If you have mods you can run the orange spring. But if you are stock you are better with the blue spring.

Shagman and NOS-PRO are now the new owners of Thunder Products

The kit was designed to run the blue spring. Your better off to stay with that.

Thunder Products 911 Billet Primary Cover (Tested to 12,000rpm)

No. Clutch is balanced from Yamaha and cover is balanced from machining. Your good to go.

    Frozen primary roller.

Dan. I don’t think any roller is going to last the life of the sled at these hp’s. With that I have a set in my viper turbo with 3500 miles 190 hp and 2500 miles stock hp. Also a set in my winder at 275 hp. 800 miles and are still good. This is with thunder Products weights. Weights play a huge...

No. Rpm change is very little. It’s usually not needed.

    sidewinder primary rollers broke???

Yep better. I’m running on viper 6000 or so miles and sidewinder 700-800 miles. All good so far. I’m running the 14.8mm ones in both sleds.

Shagman's SW gets top speed at Radar Run

I am 26/48 gearing 8 tooth 3” pitch 153” track cut to 1.7, no studs. This was also a very loose groomed snow. Track speed at 105 on radar was 119mph. I was out of gear way before the radar gun by my log on sled. Made the switch last summer for racing purposes. Running TD since then.
