    too bad Yamaha didn't realize the fox air shock was crap before i bought a 2016 new spring order apex.... i rode it 150 miles and took it back to the dealer, lost 5 grand on it but it was not ridable.. the monoshock was way better.. anyway... hoping the 2017 guys are happy

    does this system change suspension geometry? because there is always a tradeoff... but still interesting... would this also work with agressive skis like the C & A's because i want skis that grip a lot... not just easy and slippery...yet i am following with interest this post

    2018 updates

    I don't know, the BRP 850's where really not bad for a 1st year and we already know of at least 10 or more improvements in clutching, bracing, motor mounts, etc... so i'm pretty sure Yamaha has already decided what the updates will be.. unless the go as fast as previous sleds and take 2-3 years...

    anyone that mods turbos know's the warranty is out the window... but hey, 200hp stock, just well clutched and that's enough for most, if you want more, it's a gamble, still pretty cheap for such a performance machine...

    What stresses me out is this is such an easy problem to solve, and i bet you it will take more then a year to solve.. first thing Yamaha said was "break the rollers in gently" i wonder, what has Yamaha officially responded to those who sent emails for this problem.     i had a 1200, didn't want to mod it so much, tried header and clutch, but was not that impressed, it was a far, very far cry from my stock Apex, so i imagine a Sidewinder, only thing close is a turbo 1200 but that is heavier and more expensive then a sidewinder without the warranty...if you want...

    i'm thinking Yamaha will be soon 2nd in sales, because polaris is going nowhere and Arctic cat is loosing sales to yamaha...if they get a 2 stroke in the lineup they will go to 2nd place IMO

    Its bizarre how just one more lug on the ground makes so much difference, but it also bridges bumps better , and is more confy, but the 121's where to short, the 129 seemed perfect , but with 200hp's makes you wonder... i'll probably end up with a 137' Sidewinder and a 129 inch 2stroke for when...

    its funny how Yamaha changed the 4 stroke snowmobiling world in 2003 with the RX1 or Apex later on, then the Vector 3 cyl engine did the same, and now the SW turbo re writes it all.. not bad for the 4 th snowmobiling sales company...i guess it's all about the motor...:yam:

    yeah, i think what you loose in tight trails easyness you gain in arm pulling grin when the traction hits the ground...hmmm... man...i think i'm still on the fence, my apex is 129 and the ZR9000 of my freinds where 129 last year and they are pretty good compromise.. but on a well balanced sled...

    STill on the fence between a 129 and 137 inch... i do sometimes twisties, but mostly pretty long winding trails and straights.. but it varies a lot.. i prefer 129 but i find the traction might be not be enough on that size.. anywone had any experience on the 129? .. yet ?... i guess its still...
