sled is vibrating. It is not motor. when you going down the trail can feel vibration. Can it be the belt? How do you know when to change the belt? Scott

Thanks for the info. when i took it in last spring before i put it away i had then make the center shock stiffer.

I have studded my track i have gouges in the rear heat exchanger. Does any one else have this problem. i was going to install some hi-fax on the aluimn tunnel protectors. Has anyone did this ? or what did you do to remedy this problem? Scott

I believe what caused this motor to go. Is the oil the poured out when the gasket didn't seal. I went 3.5 miles across a lake. When i got to the other side it wouldn't go. oil all over the clutches & belt. no warning light. This is when the motor started to go.

Got the sled back today. New motor . THe dealer gave me 1 year extended warannty. I purchased a additional 3years . At a great reduced price. So good for four years.

Going to get my sled on saturday. They told me that they were going to give me a years warranty & Yamaha should give me another year. Thinking off duying more warranty. Want to get a total of four year warranty. will keep you posted.

sled is ready The dealer called today. Said my sled is finally done. Took it to them on monday feb 27. Not bad. two months to rebuild my engine. :o| :o| :o|

gasket Glad you noticed your gasket. I am picking mine up tommorrow from the dealer. 563 miles put a 2 x 5 inch hole out the back of the motor. Took them month & half to rebuild the motor. Kept saying needed to get numbers from different parts then order more parts. Sounds fishy to me.

They are rebuilding the motor. They are also going to extend my warranty for another year. The new connecting rods are not due in till april 5. They are back ordered. They are going to see if Yamaha will give another year warranty also. So that will give me a two more years of warranty. Hope...

Going to trade the sled in. Just don't fell comfortable with the sled. Called them yesterday. Still waiting for connecting rods. Then they are going to order the bearings. My season is done. Going to ask the dealer about the 150.00 for trip interuption.
