For me Yuasa, what Yamaha's come with is the best.
My Rage battery lasted 12.5 years and my 09 700 Grizzly battery is 12years 5 months old. Same battery. Still works and tests good.
I start my sleds and quads at least every 3 weeks in the off season plus give the battery a top up charge every...
The Iron Dog Race starts on Sunday.
By my count the following teams have entered:

2 Polaris/Ski-Doo Teams.
7 Ski-Doo Teams.
2 Cat teams.
No Yamaha Teams.
Started hunting in Sept. for elk, first archery then rifle. Had action several times in archery while calling but not close enough and in rifle they answered but would not show them selves.
In Oct. moose season we had good luck, called a bull in to 40 yards and my partner got him. About a 3 year...
The arch mentioned should be at 45 degrees up and to the rear.
I have aligned a lot of trailers, for others and myself. Built several myself.
The way I do it is put a good chain around the spring and axle where the axle is u bolted to the spring, positioning the chain under a jack (usually use...
No one has mentioned trail tire wheel alignment. Tires should be towed in approx. 1/8" to 3/8" and also closer together at bottom than at top ( cant remember if that is camber or caster ). If tires are not aligned properly it will sway no matter what else you do.
Wife and I ride approx. 3000 miles to -30 Celsius, we both wear glasses, do not use a breath box and have no trouble with fogging in our electric shield helmets. Since way back when they quit putting collars on jackets and went to the collarless jackets for mountain riders we have used a light...
Some time ago there was discussion about these snap rings. From memory they said you have to work on them till you get them out and then drill your own small holes for the next removal.
I know this is not much help.
Couple other things : There use to be an oil pan drain plug repair that was a rubber thing that you stretched with a rod, pushed it though the hole and when you removed rod it swelled on both sides the hole. I know, a poor explanation.
Also a tubeless tire valve stem except would be a small...
Another option is the free " Ride Command " app (was Rider X ) for your phone. Snowmobile part shows where you are on all trails in area. You can track your ride and add waypoints plus other things.
ATV part can make your own trails.
Very much like a hand held outdoor GPS
Google it.
Yes, full coverage. In our province you also must have sled plates/registered for insurance to be valid.
The old trail pass is now included with the plates/registration.
After reading all the above knowledgeable info. on the 2014 Viper I did some research on my options for my very stiff riding 2014 LTX. Cat soft spring $97 something, on back order. Dealer along with his Yamaha rep. say original spring is 17.5 lb. and 2017 Viper spring is 15.5 lb. ( read a bit...
Had my 14 Viper flashed yesterday, Jan. 13. This morning -17 C started with couple seconds of cranking and warmed up fine. Doing trail work with a lot of warm starts, let system cycle then crank. Many starts and it would only start on second try with as much or more cranking than the cold start...
Each rider looks after the sled behind. One sled in the pack stops and it creates a chain reaction till the leader stops. Just be careful if going back to check.
