Hi Guys, I know this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find an answer. I have the 128 relocation kit on my sled with a studded Cobra track and I can't get any of the power to the ground. I also have the mpi 180 s/c kit and it seems the slower I press the throttle open, the faster the...
Hi guys, I was on the verge of getting rid of my Nytro when Grizztracks (Fran) saved the day.
I've been chasing an overheating problem this season which turned out to be a bad head gasket. After talking to Fran I was able to see the bubbles in the coolant and accepted the fact that it was the...
I think this is one of the biggest misconceptions in snowmobiling. Spring preload doesn't effect bottoming. The coil spring takes X amount of force to collapse. So regardless if you start with minimum preload or full preload, it still takes the same amount of force to collapse the spring.
It's fake.
Looks like it was photoshopped by a 5 year old and the domain name in the bottom left was never purchased.
Even Polaris isn't dumb enough to build a marketing campaign around an unregistered domain.
Some go for quite awhile, but many go around 5000. You'll notice as these sled break 4000 miles the price drastically drops. If it was me I would be making the trade. If you just did a top end rebuild the crank is probably right around the corner.
The Gems unit controls your fuel. Obviously with the blower your motors needs additional fuel. If you unplug the unit you would be running the stock mapping again which would be way to lean for the motor and could cause major problems so I would not recommend unplugging it unless you removed the...
Had an 09 Nytro SE with the float X shocks and a 09 RTX I put fox Evols on. Thought they were both great shocks. Try squeezing the throttle a little more
I've had slydog powder hounds, tuners, and curve. It took me a long time to get the sly dogs to work well. The first turn I took I almost ended up in the trees. Eventually they were ok. I actually liked the tuners until one snapped in half. I don't have a lot of time on the curve skis yet but...
I don't know why everyone is so surprised by this. I would be very surprised to see a bone stock SideWinder beat a tuned Nytro with a power adder in a short race. Nytros come out hard especially with boost.
Get the SideWinder dialed in and we have a different story.
SW did pretty well at the shootout. Went through the gates at 101 mph. 1000 feet. Polaris was second fastest at 96. The new 850 was 2 or 3 mph slower. Cat was about the same.
I agree, 1.325 is not long enough.
I also don't like the idea of studding just the center. Think about how fast you're spinning that track - if all the weight is in the center you're asking for the track to balloon. And the farther you get away from the rails, the less down force that's being...
