Contacted my dealer today, I’m on his list for a new SRX

I got on my dealers list today for a SRX. He’s concerned Sidewinders will be allocated to them.

Thank you for all the kind responses. The repair estimate exceeds 12K, so anticipating the ins. company will total it. Just have to wait for all the paperwork to come thru now. We’re in an extended Jan thaw right now in the U.P. so we have some time to re-group.

They are fishing on the lake, not nearly the number of fish shacks we usually see, lots of slush pockets all around the lake, not just the normal spots. Didn’t see any atv‘s on the ice. U.P. Is experiencing a January thaw the next few days. i would call ahead.

1,992 miles this year, all in the U.P. Had to cancel two 3 day trips, weather and the flu. Great trails overall.

Stock 22 SRX with 1.125 studs, 2 per inside window. 4” Dually carbides, medium windshield and I’m 265 with gear. Long lake pulls I top out at 117 gps consistently.

My son let his helmet shield cord drop in the snow while connected, got those two codes, it is the thumb warmer, hand warmers, seat warmer and aux mini plug circuit. His was simply a blown fuse blown from the short the dropped cord caused. That fuse is up in the nose fuse block.

My buddies Sidewinder LTX-GT with power steering came in this week in Ishpeming, MI. All accessories also came in. It’s all set up and ready to ride, as soon as it quits raining in the U.P. His was the first Sno Check on the first day for dealer.

Got the call Monday, 850 X2 Rspec 850 is IN! Just waiting for a couple of small accessories and setup, should be on my trailer next week. Good thing too as last month I got a cash offer for my 16 YXZ1000 I couldn’t refuse. So, been anxious if the new SxS would be here by fall.

I’ve been holding out for an 850 2R base Gray, beginning to wonder if I should just tell my dealer first 2 door he gets in, no matter model, size?

My Brides got well over 4K miles on her 20 Sidewinder LTX-GT. She came off an Apex XTX with power steering. No complaints driving the Sidewinder at all, loves it. She is 4’11” and 160# and has had no issues with the power, the fastest she’s had it tho was only 109 on Lake Gogebic this year.

I put $ down on a 850 2R base Gray. Love the new LE RMX 2, but for the price difference I can justify keeping my YXZ for blasting, and use the 850 for around camp. Having a box and Hauling “stuff” being able to talk on easy rides, ability to pull a small trailer. Add a winch and I’m good for...
