    powertrail flash from Turbo Dynamics

I'm going try a hybrid of sorts based on much of the data gleaned from this site. Power Trail with TP springs and Dalton weights set at 74gms per recommendation. I am sure I'll have to fine tune from there but it will be a good base to start from based on my weight etc. I'll report back upon...

    2011 Apex upgrades

Ditch the tuners they are awful. I run C&As which work well with the power steering. Curve skis work well on this machine also. Just find C&As work well in all conditions. I run an iceripper with studs down the middle two per window as well which is plenty. I think if you just stud you will be...

    Blown belts?

No. Due to this forum giving a heads up, I removed the airbox and washed the excess oil( there was a lot) before putting a single mile on the sled.

Well so much for my sleds maiden voyage, alacart cat chaincase, again

I just had to tighten my track at 1,800 miles due to ratcheting.

    The heavy

Apex by far. My 129 is 638. My Apex approx 700 full of fluids. But, if you ride trails mostly they are both great in their own way. Th power steering and engine power on the Apex negates a lot of the heavy feeling and running amazingly smoothly. The sidewinder definitely feels lighter, is easy...

Touch Up Paint for SW Blue RTX LE?

Unfortunately my season has come to an end. Pretty awesome though, after curious start with roller issues etc. My last belt lasted 1,600 miles. 2,000 miles total on SW, 300 miles on Apex. But for normal wear and tear sled held up great. So, does anyone have the color code or can you suggest a...

    Rx1 rear suspension

Mono works great. Just get shock re-valved and make sure you get the one that is reinforced. If you will have to do that.

    DX or SE L-TX model

Yes very fortunate ☺️. The LE is spring order Limited Edition and comes with the top of the line kashima coated shocks, heated seats, better glove/tool case, different color choices and some giveaways. Like mid layer jacket and an accessory budget. I did it he Le last year because I liked the...

It takes a little bit to set up this sled at first, especially for bigger riders but once you find that sweet spot it truly gets better the more miles you put on across many conditions. At one point this past weekend I hit a stretch of moguls and just hammered through to a point where i thought...

    Check Primary Rollers

Hope so. Not too confidence inspiring since for the last 15 years I have oened an RX 1 and new APEX and never has any roller issues. The only clutch issue I had was on the RX 1 which was a groove in the clutch after 12, 000 miles with 8DN belts.

    Check Primary Rollers

Thats what i thought, but once i fixed the problem the smoothness was very Apex like, it definitely pulled a lot harder and at my last gas top off while riding all out with a ski doo xrs I took $20 and he t00k$19.51.

    Frozen primary roller.

Just went through this. The bushing inside the roller was not pressed in all of the way putting pressure on the two plastic washers and squeezing the roller frozen in place. Causes belt chatter at certain rmps and of course drags the clutch. Take roller out, tap bushing in and reinstall. Don't...
