You can change the charecteristic of any flyweight that uses differently weighted replaceable nuts/bolts/rivets...whatever. You can make that flyweight behave anyway you want it too.

If your using a dishwasher you need to use the proper chemical to clean aluminum. Powdered dish detergent destroys aluminum as it,s very high in alkaline.

spot on clutching takes you to where peak torque & hp meet & let rpm,s slowly rise from there. You wanna be 10-10,200 climbing slowly to 10,700+. done this once or twice before testing against other sleds.

I dunno about that. I am running usi vx301 with 8" stud boy shaper bars & it turns pretty easy.

Re: rats Your drag & flies were set up for harsh engagement. Adding to the heel lowers & smooths engagement. It also will lower rpm,s a little thru the rest of the entire shift. Woulda been an easy fix on your attak with drag & flies.

check engagement rpm,s. Higher engagement = bad for deep snow riding.

Don,t use dish soap. It,s alkaline & will pit the aluminum. Blow everything out with compressed air & clean faces with a green scotchbrite pad.

1300 miles on mine. They wore close to the wear line at the 2nd last set of wheels right at 300 miles. 1000 miles later they have not moved. The remainder of my sliders are all at 80% left.

Mohawk/Husky 94 is also high in ethanol. You need to jet up to use it.

It,s tuff to find the right spring. The black hc spring is 140/400. Good luck trying to find a primary spring with that high a rate & less preload.

the original 4 stroke 2 speeds were 20/40. When they shaved 2 grams off the body of the main weight they worked a lot better to make them into 20/38.
