    Brake Switch Issue

Wow, I just looked at the parts diagram for the 93 and it looks as if it is the original mechanical brake switch! I assumed the switch was part of the newer hydraulic assembly (not). I can't believe the switches are that similar 20 years apart! Thanks for the heads up Mr.Sled!!!

    Brake Switch Issue

I have a strange issue, I need help with. Have a newer style hydraulic brake (off Nytro) installed on my Phazer II and have no control of my brake light...it is always on. I checked the brake light switch which had power all the time. I removed the switch to check contacts and noticed once...

    trail conditions in quebec

Quebec Conditions I just returned from Shawinigan/Monts Valin. I would not recommend the Shawinigan area as snow was thin, and the rain made everything icy, but north of that near Relais 22, and over to Lac St. Jean was very good. South side of Lac St. Jean was thin, but the north side was...

    ice ripper tracks

Be very careful!! Myself and a friend purchased the ice ripper XT tracks last year, and after a season of use were very pleased on how well they work. However, this season both have started to delaminate on the inside of the track where the outside idlers run on the bars (3000miles). We...

    Snowtrackers Review

I have tried the Semi aggresive Snowtrackers on my Phazer and Attack, and was not very impressed. I found that in soft or deep snow they are horrible, and cause excessive push since the plate increases keel width. Once on hardpack they worked well, but caused a pitch condition during hard...

Snowtracker - order Semi- Agressive or Agressive runners?

Semi Trackers I have the semi's and do not suggest you go that route. In hardpack they are ok, but on soft or deep snow they push like crazy carpets! In my opinion these runners are for less aggresive riders and for slower speeds.

    Opinions?? How bad is this????

Ripsaw Tear I've seen this happen lots. 50% were ok, the other 50% continued to self destruct and caused more damage (heat exchanger is your primary concern). Its pretty close to the window so I disagree that there is no structural damage. Those single ply tracks are not as tough as the...

    Ice Ripper XT Problems

If you use this type of track, check for pre-mature wear on the inner side of the track, where the outside idlers and axle wheels run. Mine has around 3000 miles on it and has worked very well, but I have noticed wear and damage and am returning it for a warranty claim. The track looks...

    Tunnel Bag?

Tunnel Bag I have the Skins Bag, and it was fairly waterproof the first season, but it is like a sponge now, even with repellent spray. I also found the need to rivet it to the tunnel, as the velcro did not hold well. Ziploc bags, are a necessity.... Even though it is not the best product, I...

    Replacing Clutching Components

My 07 Attak has 8000+ miles. The dam thing just seems to run so good, that I'm kinda embaressed to say I have never even taken the clutches apart yet. However, I am getting a bit worried that it may fail, so I think the time has come to make a change. Any suggestions? I have only ever...

    Bender Exhaust gaskets

I tried the Bender gaskets, and IMHO they were crap! They seemed smaller than the Yamaha OEM's and did not fit as tight. They only lasted 1000 miles. My previous sets (both Yamaha) each lasted 3000 +, and were in better shape when removed. My 2 cents
