Father is looking for a new sled.
I personally think the venture is the way to go with more stuff than the LE but the Ski-Doo dealer is about a 30 second drive (not joking) while Yamaha is almost 2 hours, and he can probably get a better deal on the ski-doo.
He isnt very aggressive and it'll...
White/Blue vectors I like best I think (would like to see the white flow with the seat more though)
Orange and Black (like on the Phazer) looks like a good combo.
The Black/Red with flames I really dont like.
IMHO the flames look to generic, not a big fan of them anyway. But they do look the...
It only starts to tip up at the 121" mark
if u were drivin on plywood (something flat, no give) it got the same track on the ground as a 121. But in snow it would sink in a bit. So even on groomed trail the lugs pass the 121 mark will still be in the snow so much.
Did you ever check your coolant to see weather or it was mixed with water or not?
That was a problem when they first came out, not sure if it still is or not.
here something quoted from chris's blog....
"I think it would have been very cool to have quietly put the info up on the corporate web-sites with some good photos and specs and simply said; ‘You asked for it …Well here it is’ then sit back and let the web do its thing."
Hes usually...
Chris on sledtalk is after mentioning SRX a few times in his last few post, the same posts which he talks about test riding the 09s.... Maybe hinting at the higher-hp apex we've been talking about...
I would think a lot of people will be disappointed if its just a Nytro LTX... Nothing wrong with a sled like that and theres a market for it and they should probably add it for 2009 but I dont think it should count as a "New" sled like their site says. We'll see if a few hours...
It was just a link to the picture saying new 09 sled friday on its own (right click and view background image. Already posted on the first page but here it is again http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/produ ... /home.aspx
anyway, if they do do that it would leave a nice spot for an 170HP sled...
Looking at the picture on the yamaha site it looks like it got a front grab bar like the Nytro/Phazer. So that makes me think its an 100-110 hp class sled in a Nytro style chassis with some less weight (adding to the current line-up, not removing any current sleds) because I dont think there...
Thats what I was thinking as well. If they are coming out with a replacement for the Apex it wont be in stub-nosed chassis like the Nytro or Phazer, Yamaha knows that not everyone wants a extreme bump sled and dont want to lose the people that want a cruiser style sled.
Higher the altitude the less dense the air but it has the same percentage of ozygen. When you compress air to so many pounds its basically like density, so 10 pounds at 7500 feet is the same as 10 pounds at sea level. (Same density)
Why does everyone post this 50 pound crap??
Should have some proof first.
Robbie said it last year but that was before the minimum weight of 450 pounds and last year was also their first year for Yamaha. So the other guys probably gained 20-30 pounds while Yamaha cut 10 or 15... Seen somewhere...
