'15 LTX-DX Viper Broken/Missing Front Shock/Spring

While going over my sled today, I noticed that the "Retaining Washer" that holds the Spring onto the top of the Shock is missing, and the spring is just sitting there??

Couple of questions...can I expect my Dealer to have that "Washer" in stock?
Also, how would have it gotten like that?

probly won't have in stock unless they do shock work, could order one an give you one off another sled they have. i would say spring was to loose and when you go air born there wasn't enough tension on clip and they come off.

There's a Shock Place near me to, but I'm going to give the Dealer the chance to fix it. Thanks!

Took it to the Shock Guy instead of the Dealer. He says that they can break, but it probably popped off when the load came off the of the ski at some point.

The Pre Load is fine on the coil too. New washer, and I'm back in business!
