all 15 cats are EXPENSIVE

Yes they have used the motor for awhile and they got 0 power or excitement out if it that's where the turbo version came from. They bought all their Suzuki motors in bulk so have to use them up or eat them. And all the 2s motors are made by cat at this point.
You should stick to probably stick to the Yamaha topics....the Arctic Cat knowledge seems a little thin...

My bad they must not be producing their own 2strokes and they have not used a 1100 Suzuki twin 4s non turbo ever before with hardly any interest. Your right I'm sorry.

However it's all over the net that the 800 was designed by cat the parts were only made and sent to cat by Suzuki so. They could build their motors, and it's right under the cat web site that Suzuki will only provide parts to service the motors that are currently out there after 2014

Arctic Cat produces it's own 600 dsi in St. Cloud Minnesota, along with the majority of their ATV and Sxs engines. There will be more AC 2 strokes coming along shortly...that is not a secret. All the Suzuki engines used by AC now are AC designs maufacured by Suzuki. It was announced last night that Suzuki will continue to manufacture select engines for AC in the future. The N/A1100 Suzi first appeared in the AC sleds in the fall of 2006. It has powered thousands of sleds. It's not sexy, and it sounds like a tractor, but it will give you close to 120 hp like any other 4 stroke and last forever. There is no great pile of engines in TRF. Engine supply agreements are negotiated on pretty much an annual basis as to #s. Suzuki wants to sell engines, the more you buy the less the per unit cost.

Leave it to Arctic Cat, offering Yammi's genesis with turbo charging, 177 hp ( ZR 7000 RR). Why couldn't Yamaha do that?
