Hey Everyone!
Hate to see the snow season end, but then again...I'm happy to fly down the tar this weekend!
Viper and SRX are ready and hopefully do very well this season, maybe even win the Quick 8 and Championship like I did last year
Best time on the Viper last year was 10.98 @ 112.36mph
Best time on the SRX (without nitrous) was a screaming 9.04 @ 135.24mph
Going to be a great year once again! Racing goes from April till October....so if you happen to get a chance to get to Wisconsin International Raceway, look me up!

Wisconsin International Raceway 4/16/16 & 4/17/16
Temps in the upper 80's with a max of 87° (not used to this by no means! Going from 20's/30's to 80's? Come on...) Headwind about 10-15mph so that doesn't help. Traction of course was not the best and rubber was not sticking to the track. Some of the fast cars that come down were cleaning the rubber right off of the lane and spinning. Lots of oil downs, broken parts on the starting line....you would have thought this was the last day of the season where everyone was throwing everything at it to make the car run fast. Only ran the Viper.
Saturday was Tech in and practice day. Made a few runs but noticed my PC5 was not reading the 02 sensor...great..... The sled sounded ok, but think it was fat....just didn't seem to have power and very low on mph.
1st run on fresh setup from changing over from winter, Lane 1 - Bright sun and getting warm
Reaction -.0519, 1.6056 60ft, 7.1144 @ 94.29mph 1/8th, 11.4786 @ 104.80mph 1/4 mile
2nd run, Lane 1 - same conditions
Reaction -.0933, 1.5815 60ft, 7.0713 @ 94.29mph 1/8th, 11.4305 @ 106.00mph 1/4 mile
3rd run, Lane 1 - same conditions (tried some clutching changes)
Reaction .1558, 1.5753 60ft, 7.0892 @ 94.27mph 1/8th, 11.4434 @ 106.25mph 1/4 mile
4th run, Lane 2 - Same conditions (more clutching)
Reaction .0155, 1.5453 60ft, 7.0439 @ 93.25mph 1/8th, 11.4192 @ 107.91mph 1/4 mile
5th run, Lane 2 - Same conditions (more clutching)
Reaction .1406, 1.4844 60ft, 6.9517 @ 93.06mph 1/8th, 11.3438 @ 103.96mph 1/4 mile
Sled seemed flat all day and even tho I got quicker times, my mph just was not there.
Sunday - 4/17/16 Opening Day! Temps again in the 80's with headwind.
1st time run, Lane 1 changed some clutching and scrubbed the track on the Viper
Reaction .1238, 1.4968 60ft, 6.9708 @ 93.70mph 1/8th, 11.3678 @ 104.55mph 1/4 mile
2nd time run, Lane 2
Reaction .0382, 1.4944 60ft, 6.9825 @ 93.07mph 1/8th, 11.3541 @ 107.66mph 1/4 mile
Round one. Lane 2 - temps warm at 86°, oil downs just before our class...not good. Dial-in 11.34
Reaction .0855, 1.5017 60ft, 6.9985 @ 92.69mph 1/8th, 11.4163 @ 102.56mph 1/4 mile
Lost round one by .016 to a great racer. Because i spun, I couldn't run my number... better luck next time.
I did win the reaction time contest so that put some cash in my pocket.

Update....
Picked up an 02 sensor Bosch 17205, plugged it in and sled is running much better. Readings were 9.8's and after running a few minutes it changed to 12's.....so I know I was throwing a lot of fuel into the engine.
Going to make some test runs in front of the house if the rain holds off.
