Cai require tuning?

Hey. I am thinking about moving my under hood intake to a through hood one. Already had Td powertrail. Wondering if this is a waste of time, and would I need to alter the tuning for a/f. Mostly trail riding, in elevations below 2000ft.

I've seen the outside cold air I built for mine raise the AF one hole point a few years back, from mid 11s to mid 12s, same day same conditions. Its one reason its important to log the AF ratios, its the only way you'll find your answer, as different CAI setups will react differently.

With the closed loop setup its a non issue, so it may be a option you want to look into if you want to experiment.
