Has anyone ever had an airspring pop due to ice buildup?
I've yet to have an air spring failure in 6 years of using Team Fast suspensions, but I'm not saying the potential isn't there (fatigue, ice, rocks, sticks, etc).
Inspect the air spring before you take off in the morning. Sometimes a 50 lb ice cube forms in that area from the day before, and I usually chip it away the best I can.
If you're still concerned, keep a spare spring stowed away somewhere on the sled. They're easy to change, especially if you have a buddy to help; just keep a couple 9/16 wrenches with you.
By the way...you'll love the skid!
