DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER DOING THIS MODIFICATION UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY A NEW MOTOR. THIS WAS AN IDEA I PICKED UP FROM ANOTHER FORUM MEMBER AND I REGRET POSTING THIS. I AM NOW LOOKING FOR A MOTOR.
This automotive PCV is available at Autozone part number PCV1175DL and priced around $3.70. This neat little idea was discovered by forum member stingray719 and he tested it and it works flawlessly. Original post started by Stingray and his successful test here Stupid question

It's used on the vent hose of the oil tank so when you roll the sled on the left side the oil does run into the airbox.

Hey Stingray, did you grind the "hex" part of the valve off? Looks like you cut the hose then managed to push both side of the hose together so you only had to use one hose clamp.

Was missing a clamp so I did that, I went back and put two clamps on.

Has anybody flipped their Phazer upside down with this PCV installation with a positive result?

For whatever reason, I didn't get notifications on updates to that thread. Good to know it works. The only other thing needed is a tether. I used an Arctic Cat normally closed switch which works well. Just spliced into the ignition switch wiring.

Maybe you can edit the first post in this thread with the info that stingray made a successful test by tipping the sled over?

Edit completed.
Hey Mooseman, do you have a part # for the AC switch and the application? I had looked before but all I could find was normally open switches.
