The most commun reason is that sometimes if there is an air bubble it will cause this. Let it sit for a bit, check the oil level and add if nessasary. Then try it again to see if it cleared itself out. If not you can try bleeding the oil system.

How do you bleed the oil system ? We drained all oil out of the block, and oil sump, also checked the screen in the oil sump and removed the hoses that connect to the sump. Removed the Oil cap on the top of the engine. Put everything back together, added 3 quarts oil and still shuts off after 20 seconds and codes error 30. Anyone have any ideas what else to check ? can it be a sensor, relay or fuse maybe ???

Check the dip stick sensor. Maybe stuck?

Check the oil pressure sensor that sits in front of the motor. Oil was leaking out the snsor on mine before changed it n back to riding.

how to prime oil pump
code 30, loss of pressure, the EZ way to fix. remove the small tube going into the oil tank on top coming from the plastic "T" fitting. DO NOT REMOVE HOSE FROM TANK, remove @ "T".
plug plastic "t" w/finger
blow hard & long, 30 seconds into the hose going into the tank. the one you just disconnected. you will blow until you hear air bubbles/ gurgling noise.
oil tank will be almost empty.
reconnect hose, start--DO NOT RUN MORE THAN 30 SECONDS. if motor kills itself , repeat takes 3-5 time
If tank refills w/oil repeat, 3-5 times
this also helps AFTER 3 TRIES ONLY! after blowing, start engine, plug both "T" & hose w/finger 3 seconds install hose onto "T" QUICKLY, w/engine running.

As said they sometimes get an air bubble, can also happen if you ever roll it over. Put the sled on a stand, the second it starts hit the throttle a couple times. Seems the bubble won't work through at idle. The computer won't let it run if it truly has no pressure. My self and a friend had it happen and another person from this site. If that don't do it take it to your dealer and let them flock it up.
