How do you know if the water pump is working corectly

2004 RX1 Warrior I would like know how long it can be run on a stand before overheating,what is max temp,it has a gauge as an add on,how do you know if the coolant is circulating properly,where should the thermostat open at

The sled will shut off when it gets too hot it about 195 ish if I remember correctly. If the coolant is circulating properly you check the coolers starting from the right side to the back then the left and they will get hot in that order.
