Hi folks, this is my first post on the TY 4 stroke side...thanks for the great forum!
I just bought a 2010 Nytro sight unseen. It has only 800kms (500 miles) on the sled. I had it shipped to me from Alberta. The seller stated that it had an MPI 180 rear mount turbo that produced 5-6psi of boost. The seller seemed to be a very reasonable guy, and gave me no reason not to believe him. He said he only ran 91 pump gas.
When I got it here, I found that it has an inter cooler, which as I understand is not normal for a 180hp kit. Also, it has a Garrett turbo while MPI uses Mitsubishi turbos. After checking the fluids etc, I took it for a very short ride and hit 15 psi of boost. There is not a head shim installed.
I am looking for any suggestions on who made this kit. I have spoken with MPI, MCX, FPP. It's not theres. I have attached a picture of the air intake with a "T" symbol stamped on the end. The exhaust bracket has the same symbol. Anybody recognize it? Thanks a lot. Woody
