Oil is coffee & cream colored :-(

If it were my sled, I'd pull the valve cover to check for corrosion / rust on the cams etc. If it sat for a while with alot of water / moisture in it, over time it would eventually condense on the steel and cause surface rust as the detergent type motor oil wicked off the parts and exposed bare steel...
I’ve searched for a DIY on valve cover replacement but not found one. Can you guys point me to one?

Thank you.

Jay

Update: It seems that the latest drain/tank removal - clean, rinse & dry/oil filter change ...and then refill shows no more coffee!!!!! Or light chocolate milk!!! Going to run it a few more times(5 min intervals) and then, if no coffee, put in the good oil and another new Yamaha filter.

Thanks all for your help, I may have dodge a bullet here!!!!! Merry Christmas
