Is it weather proof? Will this be okay for final placement?

They are for the most part but they should not be submerged or packed with snow.

I have gems in the front pocket of my handle bar bag and my gauges in the back zippered compartment so everything is totally hidden and pretty well weather proof but very accessible.

Best place for the gems...... A trash bag.

Let me reiterate, trash can. I suppose you could drag it along incase your pcv died.

Thor if your riding and you find the AFR starts jumping around and your sure the sensor is good then you know its the GEMS, this has never happened to me ever. Maybe I'm lucky! LOL
