Season 2015-2016 is about to start here in Norway.
October 3. We have snow in the Mountains.
I'm out with my mother and father working in the woods.
It's time to cut off branches of the Birch trees we cut down in early September.
My father Ove, age 77
My mother Jenny, age 75
When the branches are cut off the Birch trees we raise the logs up against a suitable tree.
We have to choose the right tree to make sure it will not tip over when the winter storms sets in.
My Father is working raising logs. At their age they are still going strong, maybe it's the work that keep them fit
It's been snowing the last few days at altitude.
We have snow on the peaks.
Mount Gardevarri.
Mount Bringnes
The arctic ocean in the distance.
October 27.
First snow on the ground, altitude close to sea level.
October 30.
It's been colder and we have got another inch of snow.
