Anyone know how to convert Yamahas secondary clutch spring charts? Its all in KG/MM and every shop that sells aftermarket springs sells in LB/IN.
I am looking to convert a Red spring to something aftermarket (putting a spring with the same characteristics from my phazer into a different clutch). Any shops around here only have their specs in pounds, like springs from Dalton or EPI, etc and they did not know how to convert to metric....?
Stock spring is Red
Torsion (kgf/mm/rad) 931
Compression (kgf/mm) 1.08
# of turns 5.33
As far as spring length it would need to fit into a clutch from a 96Vmax 600
thanks.
