Shock Rebound Demo Video

One added comment, when you add your rear torsion springs to the equation the shocks do rebound faster.

In that scenario the carver shock would rebound "extend" about 50-70% quicker which is what your rear suspension needs to do in response to larger bumps and prepare for the next bump.

The stock shock on the other hand is so slow that even with the torsion springs helping you need a heavy spring to get the shock to rebound. The problem with that heavy spring is that your ride sucks, you have no suspension sag and the shocks still don't rebound fast enough to recover between larger bumps.

Not sure if this clarifies things a bit to those that have not dealt with the slow rebound of the stock shocks and harsh ride.

Or by the time the stocker rebounds you are past the corner or slamming into the next bump with no travel left. That is if the stocker even decides to compress on first bump!
