On the rear suspension there is the plastic hold that mounts on the rails that holds the long arm of the torsion spring. Has anyone seen anything aftermarket for there? Looking for something billet so that I can just turn them upside down to lessen the spring tension. I would try it with the stock ones but I'm afraid it would not be strong enough.

There is a billet adjuster in the accessories catalog for the short side of the arm. I know that doesn't answer your question, but it may give you more range of adjustment.

I'm looking for something that is really going to soften up the springs and then as needed I can adjust my stock triangles. On the softest settings I can't bottom the sled out riding hard on 3 foot moguls and I weigh 230

Man i dont get it, with the stock setting i bottomed out all the time! i have it set stiff as hell and still bottom out sometimes. with big jumps or big moguls. im just a little bit heavier than you. at 250 dressed.

There is def no bottoming out mine! Wouldn't think that shocks could come valved differently. I'll be sending mine out after the season but not going to take it apart during mid season as I ride most every day

I ride almost everyday as well! And I'm going to go this weekend to test my wheel set up. Hopefully it will work out good. I'm sure it will. I'm going to patent my design....lol
Geometry of the LTX,RTX and XTX are very different. Keep the models in mind. I am beginning to think they even changed geometry of the standards vs the se's. Springs in a 13 Cat LXR allow 4 in sag in it but the springs are identical in the RTX viper which only allows 0-1in sag. LXR is very plush and bottoms easy. My RTX was very stiff and bottomed before the shock change. Still rides a bit stiff and still no sag. I will be playing with Nitrogen pressure in shock to get more sag but little hope. Unless softer spring are found I may get the torch out and heat a spring to my liking. Its been done before. Sucks if this is the case since geometry was always a constant in past.

Kind of hard to heat the springs and get them close to the same. Maybe not just seems like it would be. I guess I'm just a fat guy because I feel like it's not stiff enough. Lol everyone is different. I am thinking about getting different shocks all around.

I agree. That one is next for me. I did rear first since I was bottoming hard and it kicked. Scared me. Softer springs would have done same thing I did probably better but I cant figure out what springs to get.

I have a bent shaft, but it's the one where the slide action is.

Because is valves soft that bends that rod? Is it from impact? I was planning on leaving it bent...lol
If it bottoms something will bend.
