My track stand that worked on my Apex will not work on my Viper because of the center mounting of the rear bumper. What are you guys using for a track stand on the Viper? Pictures & pricing would be very helpful.

I bought the Artic Cat jack stand. It's maid to fit for the Viper/Cat bumper system.

The only thing thought. It needs to be painted. It's got way too much AC green on it. Dooh.

Just offset it or make a wider hook for yours. Here is mine. Works fine offset to one side.

Doesn't Yamaha sell their version of this same stand?

I bought one of these. I have not tried it yet on the viper as I have not picked the sled up from the dealer yet. I did try it on my Apex and it lifted it w/out issue.

It's 10 years old. I can't remember but it even works well for suspension removal. Goes high enough.

I just bought one of these:

I found an e-Bay store that is selling them for $70

The e-bay store is called snowmobilestud.com

He has five left and he is located in Lino Lakes, MN which is very close to my house so I will pick it up and not have to pay for shipping.

Nice find. I like that the hooks are only 5.5" apart, but I like the one I ordered also because it is held together with pins and can be quickly disassembled. A stand that has the best of both worlds would be ideal ;) lol.

I have had the stands posted above , but found these crank up type much more useful. Can lift sled rear, front, skis, quad, trailer hitch and more. Have 4 of them. 2nd pic shows one folded and laying on floor, easy to take along on trailer or in truck.

Nice Blue Dave. I was wondering if the 5.5" hook would fit. Glad to see it does.

Yes, the 5.5" hook spacing works perfect as you can see in the first picture. This stand is adjustable to be able to lift the track about 5" off of the ground as you can see in the second picture.
