Steve's results arent in yet, but the factory claims wench can pull anything that needs pulling although no PSI, HP or torque figures are provided.
The rack is quite large, and would look almost cartoonish on some of the smaller ATVs. Plus you are looking at a high center of gravity if mounted on a smaller unit The rack should be supported or it will sag over time although the rack supports have been removed for the brochure and our test photos, sorry if that is misleading. Frankly the rack handgrips are too large to get the best grip, however they are quite comfy and the engineers got the heating elements just right.clutch said:The wench seems to have a more than adequate rack. Is it supported or is it a stand alone accessory? Also can you ride safely behind the rack and have a good hand hold?
We think the rack can be mounted in a variety of ways,,,,provided the proper prep work is done first. That would be the dinner and a movie Steve is working on and thats why I am doing this Q & A + T & A session.Ganz said:I just want to know how you mount the rack or if you can mount the rack.

So is this rack a direct replacement for the rack I already have? If so that would be a GREAT swap. Probably would be the best BANG for my buck I've ever had.

that one looks like you would need a lot of $$$ to think about roughing it up.

So can we run the wench as hard as possible and put it away wet? Just wondering if it could handle being wet in between uses, I know with the winch it can build up rust when stored after being wet.

Wow, I'm glad I have 90 days to complete this project as I'm getting kind of hung up mounting the wench. I'm trying to follow the instructions as best I can but I keep having to start over again.

OK ok well we got to solve this somehow. The wench is difficult and there are probably a lot of distractions, phones ringing, and keeping the wife happy too.
Maybe you just need a couple of specialized tools, just to get over the hump on this.
