There has been no talk of this chassis eating the power of the 998 during some conditions Is this just the higher HP taking care of it unlike the viper and the 800 cat?

Are you comparing this chassie to like the old style chassis of say srx,xcr,zrt,if so,than this chassie does eat more hp than those. But hp does have advantages,if your viper at 135 hp has trouble running through heavy deep snow,than the stock viper will have far less trouble than the viper did.
 
No procross. Certain conditions my viper is really good other days it comes off flat.
I think it may be like you already stated,it the power difference between the winder and viper,but dident the vipers have issues with there power delivary because there clutches were set up from Yamaha,to only deliver enough power to the ground to keep sled under 100 mph?
